Robert Hession is a construction expert witness and construction risk advisor with more than 36 years of executive and hands-on experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, corporate interior, renovation, and residential construction. Through RFH Partners, he provides independent, principal-led analysis to plaintiff and defense counsel in matters involving construction defects, construction-management standard of care, delays, change orders, extra work, cost overruns, cost-to-complete, payment applications, contractor performance, corrective work, and project documentation. His services may include early case evaluation, contract and record review, site inspections, cost and schedule analysis, preparation of clear and supportable expert opinions and reports, and assistance through mediation, arbitration, deposition, and trial. - A: Site Visit – Robert Hession: $275 per hour for on-site field time. RFH Staff or Technical Specialists: $350 per hour. Travel time billed at the applicable hourly rate. Reasonable travel, lodging, transportation, parking, tolls, reproduction, shipping, filing, testing, data, and approved third-party charges reimbursed at actual cost. A reserved testimony day includes up to eight hours of attendance and ordinary waiting time; preparation, travel, and work outside the reserved day are billed separately.
