Introduction
My name is Vasiliy Ovakimyan and I am a trauma and acute care surgeon. My primary employment involves the surgical care of trauma patients who have sustained injuries in motor vehicle accidents, penetrating injuries from gunshots/stab-wounds, assaults and severe burns. I also possess training in transplant/organ-harvest surgery and the care of transplant recipients. I have an interest in the legal implications of the care of surgical patients and learning more about the medicolegal system.
