Uwe M. Janssen is an independent technical specialist with more than four decades of hands-on field experience in fall protection, façade and building-envelope access, Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), suspended and permanent access systems, rigging, and rescue systems on landmark, high-consequence infrastructure. Operating independently of contractors, manufacturers, and installers, he provides unbiased, system-level evaluation across design, installation, commissioning, and lifecycle. Author of the Comprehensive Design Guide for Work at Height & Access Systems (2nd Ed.), he has been retained by counsel on approximately 30 fall-protection, access, rigging, and containment matters.
