Dr. Shafi Lodhi is one of the few physicians in the United States with dual fellowship training in neuropsychiatry and forensic psychiatry, both completed at Stanford. He is board certified by the ABPN in psychiatry and in the subspecialty of forensic psychiatry. His opinions address whether brain pathology explains behavior, the causation question at the center of injury, capacity, and criminal cases. He is retained by plaintiff and defense in traumatic brain injury, testamentary capacity and undue influence, competency and criminal responsibility, fitness for duty, and pharmaceutical litigation. He is licensed in multiple states, with offices in California and North Carolina.
