Introduction

Banking executive with more than 40 years of hands-on experience in bank operations, management, and lending, including roles as President and Chief Lending Officer with direct responsibility for credit decisions, underwriting, loan servicing, and operational oversight.

My background includes executive responsibility for commercial lending, consumer lending, mortgage lending, retail banking operations, credit administration, loan underwriting, servicing practices, and regulatory compliance — functions frequently examined in litigation involving financial institutions, lenders, and mortgage companies.

Throughout my career I held positions with direct decision-making authority over credit approvals, policy implementation, loan servicing, internal controls, and operational oversight. My experience involves the practical application of banking regulations, institutional policies, and industry standards that are often at issue in disputes involving lending practices, servicing, compliance, and institutional standard-of-care questions.

I have worked directly with outside counsel in contested matters and have served as a designated bank representative in depositions, regulatory inquiries, and litigation. My experience includes review and analysis of loan files, underwriting decisions, servicing records, policy compliance, and operational procedures to evaluate whether actions were consistent with generally accepted banking practices and regulatory expectations.

I provide independent expert witness and litigation support services in matters involving lender liability, banking practices, mortgage lending, consumer and commercial lending, loan servicing, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and institutional standard of care. Engagements may include case evaluation, expert reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony in state and federal courts nationwide.

All opinions are independent, objective, and based on hands-on industry experience. Compensation is not contingent on the outcome of any matter or the substance of opinions rendered.
