I have 30 years of experience in the fire service, with over 27 years of experience as a paramedic, firefighter and leader, I have served in multiple capacities throughout my career. Currently I am enrolled in a Doctorate program in Law and Public Policy with a 3.91 GPA from Liberty University.
I have had the privilege to serve in leadership positions in my prior experience as a Paramedic Lieutenant, an acting EMS Battalion Captain/Safety Officer, acting EMS Division Chief, as well as TEMS team leader. My experiences have demonstrated my ability to mentor, develop and encourage future leaders in the Fire service and in EMS. By utilizing my degrees in Organizational Leadership, my Juris Masters with a focus on healthcare law, along with the current studies in my Doctoral program, I feel that I bring a unique perspective in fire services, business, and a legal perspective to the position.
