Dr. Nathan Solomon is a podiatric physician and surgeon with advanced training in foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction, and diabetic limb preservation. He is currently practicing with Kingspoint Foot & Ankle Specialists, where he treats acute and chronic foot and ankle trauma cases.
Dr. Solomon earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida, graduating in 2020. Prior to medical school, he completed a Master of Clinical Biology with specialization in Histotechnology at Barry University in 2014, a Bachelor of Psychology and Human Behaviors from California State University, Northridge in 2012, and an Associate of Arts from Santa Monica College in 2010.
Following podiatric medical school, Dr. Solomon completed a three-year Rearfoot and Ankle Podiatric Trauma Surgical Residency at One Brooklyn Health System/ Kingsbrook – Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York (2020–2023). His training included comprehensive surgical and clinical management of foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive procedures, and diabetic limb salvage. During this time, he completed specialized coursework in fracture management, arthroscopy, deformity correction, and reconstructive surgical techniques through AO North America, Johnson & Johnson, and ACFAS.
After residency, Dr. Solomon entered private practice in New York, providing both clinical and surgical care. From 2023 to 2024, he practiced with Metropolitan Foot Care of New York, focusing on surgical foot and ankle care and diabetic foot management. He subsequently joined CitiMed of New York, where from 2024 to 2025 he treated acute and chronic trauma cases, performed open reduction internal fixation (ORIF), and managed lower extremity reconstruction. In 2025, he began his current role at Kingspoint Foot & Ankle Specialists.
Dr. Solomon has contributed to research in tissue engineering and ophthalmology, including a DARPA-supported study on epidermal stem cell growth and gene therapy research on diabetic corneas. He is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, American Association of Podiatric Practice Management, and AO Trauma International.
He is licensed in California, New York, and New Jersey, and has passed all NBPME examinations. His board certifications with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine are currently pending.
