Introduction

Mr. Meyer R. Rosen, President of Interactive Consulting, Inc. has over thirty-five years of industrial and academic experience in chemistry and chemical engineering. He serves as a Forensic expert witness for plaintiff and defense attorneys in both Federal and State matters. These include, but are not limited to: product liability, personal injury, intellectual property, patent infringement and trade-secret litigation matters.

Mr. Rosen is nationally certified as both a Professional Chemist and Professional Chemical Engineer. He is an Affiliate of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers and a fire & explosion investigator with advance training. Meyer's expertise includes, but is not limited to: fires, explosions, hazardous chemicals/ materials, toxic exposure, chemical burns, household/ industrial products and processes as well as cosmetic product injuries., Mr. Rosen is also experienced in identifying safer alternatives, technical aspects of warnings, instructions & labels, OSHA regulations, and Codes and Standards.

Meyer holds over 20 U.S. patents. He is Editor-in-Chief of the 3 volume, 2,600 page 9th Edition of Harry's Cosmeticology and Emeritus Editor-in-Chief of EURO-Cosmetics Magazine (Germany). Mr. Rosen has authored over 40 articles in peer-reviewed technical publications; is Editor of the 1,100 page "Delivery System Handbook for Personal Care and Cosmetic Products"; co-author of the Rheology Modifier Handbook and Book- Series Editor for Personal Care and Cosmetic Technology (seven books) (Elsevier Publishers).

Mr. Rosen is both a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Engineering and the Royal Society of Chemistry (London). He served as Chief Scientific Advisor and Technical Program Director for HBA Global Expo Conferences for over ten years. Meyer is founder and organizer of several International Safety and Regulatory Symposia. He is a technical journalist and peer reviewer for numerous publications in the specialty chemical industry and referee for several peer-reviewed scientific technical journals. Mr. Rosen has also served as Vice President and Executive Board member of the Association of Consulting Chemists and Chemical Engineers, is a past Director of the American Institute of Chemists and a member of numerous ASTM standards-making committees.
