Mark J. Lang, MCJ, CPP, CHPA, is a recognized security and law enforcement expert with more than 40 years of experience, including executive-level experience. A retired decorated Captain from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office with experience in special operations, special investigations, criminal intelligence, and tactical patrol. Mr. Lang is the former Executive Senior Director of Security Operations for Orlando Health corporate and a past security manager for a level one trauma center. Mr. Lang specializes in premises liability, negligent security, workplace violence, threat assessment, behavioral health security, hospital security, and law enforcement procedures. He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University and board certifications as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA). Mr. Lang was an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida and Valencia College. With experience in person teaching the full catalog of criminal justice courses.
