Introduction

Dr. Mahdi Eslamimehr is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern California, an award-winning computer scientist, and a senior technology executive in the software products and services industry. He has held leadership roles at leading global companies including Ericsson R&D Center, Samsung Electronics R&D Labs, SAP Research Lab, Y Combinator Research, and Clarity Global, and has participated in numerous prestigious international research collaborations.

Dr. Eslamimehr has taught and conducted research at institutions such as UCLA, California State Polytechnic University Pomona, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), Joseph Fourier University, and Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble. Over the past five years, he has advised Fortune 500 companies on more than 50 M&A transactions totaling $5.6 billion and has been retained as an expert witness in over 100 litigation matters.

He currently serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and at UCLA Anderson School of Management, where his focus includes AI governance. A: I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), a Master's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology from the Linkoping University in Sweden, and an MBA from London School of Economics and Political Science. I had two Postdoctoral fellowships at UCLA and Viewpoints Research Institute. Additionally, I am a TM Forum certified Digital Maturity and Transformation practitioner.

A: My area of expertise is software. One of my strengths is my ability to rapidly analyze large code bases and design documents, extract relevant information about the software's structure and behavior, and explain the results of my analysis in plain English, without a lot of technical jargon.
