Dr. Joshua Holt Crosby is an actively practicing surgeon in an academic, critical access, level II trauma verified hospital. Dr. Crosby is experienced in all aspects of general and trauma surgery including elective general surgery, trauma surgery, acute care surgery, surgical rescue, and critical care medicine. Dr. Crosby is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as Department Head of General Surgery at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Cuba and is a recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps achievement medal for meritorious service. Currently Dr. Crosby serves as the Associate Program Director of the Kern Medical General Surgery Residency Program and is the director of the Surgical Critical Care and Quality Management departments. Dr. Crosby is experienced in record review, deposition, and expert testimony. Dr. Crosby is an effective communicator, thorough, easy to work with, and confident.
