Introduction

Having taken his first job at age 13, Joseph Welsh has led multiple companies as a CEO, held every possible job in the Retail Supermarket Industry, and is known in the industry as "Joe the Grocer". Welsh has owned, operated, opened, closed, built, sold, and consulted over 1,000 stores in his career. These would include small grocery, large big box, retail food superstores, chain stores, independent stores, home and garden, hardware, and others. Welsh has handled cases in multiple venues, in the US and Canada..and as a consultant, worked with retailers globally.
