Introduction

I am a dedicated healthcare professional and nurse clinician with over 23 years of experience at Mass General Brigham, a nationally recognized leader in obstetrical and neonatal care. My practice is rooted in a high-acuity Level III perinatal center, where I specialize in caring for patients across the antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal intensive care continuum. I hold board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC), certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), and I am a certified instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), reflecting advanced expertise in neonatal stabilization and resuscitation.

My training includes physiologic birth practices, advanced fetal monitoring, and the management of obstetrical emergencies, including interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings, oxytocin administration, management of hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders, and support for both unassisted and operative births. I have more than 18 years of experience in a large Level III NICU caring for extremely premature and medically complex infants, where I developed strong skills in respiratory support management, hemodynamic stabilization, medication administration, and coordination of multidisciplinary care. I also play an active role in perinatal bereavement and palliative care, providing compassionate, family-centered support to those experiencing perinatal loss.

In every setting, I strive to bring calm, effective leadership to high-pressure situations. My core strengths include critical thinking, precise clinical assessment, timely escalation of care, and clear communication with physicians, colleagues, and families. I am committed to evidence-based, family-centered practice and continuous professional growth, maintaining advanced certifications, participating in specialized education, and remaining active in key professional organizations in obstetrics, neonatology, and nursing. My dual specialty in labor and delivery and neonatal intensive care allows me to understand and speak to the full continuum of maternal–fetal and neonatal care—from admission through delivery, resuscitation, and postnatal course.
