Dr. Hannah-Shmouni trained at the Yale School of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health and holds faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia. He is board certified in both internal medicine and endocrinology (ABIM, FRCPC), and his clinical and research career has centred on one field: hormone, peptide, metabolic and regenerative medicine — the same field his medicolegal work covers.
He has served as an expert witness across Canada, the United States, and internationally, in matters spanning medical malpractice, personal injury, and regulatory enforcement.
