Dr. Elizabeth M Pieroth

Dr. Pieroth is an award winning, board-certified neuropsychologist and thought leader on the assessment and treatment of concussion. She has worked with individuals with traumatic brain injury since 1996. Until her recent move to South Carolina, she served as the Director of the Concussion Program at Rush University Medical Center/Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago and for more than 20 years she was the concussion consultant to numerous professional sports teams, including the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, Fire, Stars, and others.
Dr. Pieroth serves on several national and local committees, including the NFL Head, Neck and Spine Committee and the US Soccer Advisory Panel. She is the Director of the NFL Neuropsychology Consultants Program and the Director of the concussion programs for both the National Women’s Soccer League and the Professional Women’s Hockey League. She has published on neuropsychological assessment and concussion and delivered a TEDx talk on concussion treatment.
