Dr. Eldo E. Frezza is a physician, academic surgeon, and healthcare leadership expert with a career spanning surgical practice, university leadership, research, and executive training. He previously served as Professor of Surgery and Chief of General Surgery at Texas Tech University–Health Sciences Center, where he also worked as Medical Director of Off TT NCA, contributing to departmental oversight, performance improvement, and administrative development. His multidisciplinary background integrates clinical surgery, medical ethics, patient safety, and organizational leadership.

Dr. Frezza holds an MBA and advanced professional training from premier institutions, including Texas Tech Business School, where he studied leadership, negotiation, healthcare systems, data analytics, safety management, conflict resolution, and organizational performance.

He has also served as Chief Medical Officer and Quality Director and was instrumental in building the Utilization Management section at Nashville General/Meharry University.
