I am an orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in complex spinal surgery, adult and pediatric spinal deformity correction, and minimally invasive and robotic-assisted spine procedures. My practice focuses on the evaluation and surgical management of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions, including degenerative disease, traumatic injury, scoliosis, and other complex spinal disorders.

I earned my medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where I served as a Dean’s Research Scholar. I completed my orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health, a leading academic medical center, where I was recognized with the Senior Resident Research Award for academic and clinical excellence.

My clinical expertise includes advanced procedures such as cervical spine reconstruction, artificial disc replacement, scoliosis correction, and vertebral body tethering for pediatric and adolescent deformity. I have also contributed to orthopedic research through grants and recognition from organizations including the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), reflecting my ongoing commitment to advancing spinal care through evidence-based practice.

In addition to my surgical practice, I have served as a team physician for collegiate athletic programs, where I managed sports-related spinal injuries and developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of acute spinal trauma in active populations.

In the medicolegal setting, I provide Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and expert evaluations involving spinal injury, surgical indications, causation, and post-operative outcomes. I am frequently retained in cases involving complex spine trauma, degenerative conditions, and questions regarding surgical necessity, impairment, and future care. My opinions are grounded in academic training, surgical experience, and a detailed understanding of spinal biomechanics, allowing me to translate complex clinical findings into clear, well-supported, and defensible medical-legal conclusions.
