Dr. David Haustein is a senior academic physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and has practiced medicine since 2009. He is board-certified in PM&R with additional certifications in neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine and is a Certified Life Care Planner and Certified Physician Life Care Planner. Dr. Haustein provides record reviews, medical examinations, and written opinions, including life care plans, life care plan reviews, and medical cost projections. Dr. Haustein’s clinical experience includes the evaluation and management of individuals with complex and catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, and severe neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Haustein serves as an Associate Dean and Professor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, maintains an active clinical electrodiagnostic practice, and has an extensive record of scholarship and invited regional and national presentations in rehabilitation medicine, electrodiagnostics, medical education, and life care planning.
