Introduction

With a strong foundation as an Airline Transport Pilot, former FAA Authorized Airbus Check Airman and Captain at Delta Air Lines, Inc., having flown over 14,000 accident and incident free hours, type-rated on numerous transport category aircraft, including a multitude of general aviation turbojet, turboprop, and piston aircraft. I am a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Intelligence Community and former private investigator. In addition, in 2015, I was the first commercial Airline Transport Pilot awarded the FAA Section 333 Authorization for Commercial UAS Operations. My diverse background in aviation and intelligence allows me to conduct thorough aviation-related investigations and provide expert subject matter and witness consultations, enhancing our clients' trust and satisfaction.

Air Line Pilots Association Security Committee. Advanced proficiency in the Portuguese language. Type-rated Boeing 737, 757, 767, 717, Airbus 319, 320, 321, CE-650, BE-400, and MU-300. A: Regarding my aviation, leadership and management skills, as a former FAA Authorized Airbus Check Airman and member of the Airbus Flight Standards Team at Delta Air Lines, Inc., I have instructed and supervised hundreds of military and civilian pilots of all ranks, pilots of all types of military aircraft, to include aviators of both the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, as well as Air Force One, Marine One, and Air Force Two. My responsibilities involved supervising leadership and development training, recruitment, ensuring flight crews complied with Delta and FAA regulations, and developed leadership and course curricula. I was also instrumental in working on special and sensitive security projects for the Air Line Pilots Association Security Committee.

In addition, in 2015, I was the first Commercial Airline Transport Pilot in the United States granted an FAA Section 333 Exemption and a Certificate of Authorization (COA) for Commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations. My Section 333 Authorization was granted prior to FAA Part 107 UAS Licensing, of which I hold as well.

As a Mentor Pilot, I shared my leadership knowledge with all newly hired military and civilian pilots for their transition to the civilian sectors and airline environment, during their probationary period to ensure company and FAA regulation compliance, and professional development at Delta Air Lines, Inc. In addition, I also taught leadership, ground, and simulator instruction for Southwest Airlines, Inc.

I have accumulated over 14,000 flight hours without accidents or incidents. I am a professional aviation educator and teach numerous topics such as aviation safety, security, accident investigation, threat and error management, human factors, crew resource management, and leadership.

As a former member of the United States Air Force Intelligence Community with a Top Secret/SCI clearance, I conducted years of planning, research, and highly classified investigations. I was a member of the Headquarters Alaskan Air Command NORAD Region, Indications and Warning Team, serving as an all-source intelligence analyst. I also served as a Linguist Debriefer/Interrogator, working in the HUMINT community while serving in the United States Air Force.
