Curtis M. Beloy, PE is a consultant to the legal and insurance industries specializing in crash reconstruction and product liability. He has evaluated large-scale recalls and has researched defects involving vehicle stability (rollover, wobble, weave), controls (throttle, brake, steering), electronic aids (ABS, ESC, MSC), suspension, engine failures, and overall vehicle design. He studies off-road vehicle behavior and has consulted the US Border Patrol in El Paso, TX on ATV safety. He speaks knowledgably due to his long history of off-road racing, extensive travel, and first-hand experiences with crash events.
Mr. Beloy is a native of the Midwest and graduated with honors from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a board-certified Diplomate in Forensic Engineering (DFE). He is active in several industry societies where he has presented and published research. As Principal Engineer and Co-owner at 4Moto Engineers LLC, he provides services nationwide.
