Introduction

Crash analysis and product liability expert with 20 years experience in the automotive industry and at multidisciplinary forensic engineering firms. Investigation of accidents and failures involving all types of vehicles and transportation equipment, using state-of-the-industry tools for crash data retrieval, digital video and telematics analysis, scene documentation, and physics-based simulations. Effective communication of opinions through expert reports, demonstration videos, and computer-generated graphics.

Mr. Beloy has advanced experience with powersport vehicles (such as motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs, and side-by-sides). He is a lifelong enthusiast, mechanic, instructor, and former expert-level motorcycle racer. Professionally, his projects have included durability testing of ATVs across Bolivia, developing products with professional motorcycle racing teams, investigating ATV accidents at the US/Mexico border, and evaluating two of the largest recalls pertaining to braking and stability of powersport vehicles.

Mr. Beloy holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, professional engineering licensure, and he is a board-certified Diplomate Forensic Engineer by the CESB. His independent research includes off-road vehicle dynamics, vehicle control, and video analysis. He is an active member of industry societies, and he is an experienced expert witness and instructor. He is owner/ Principal Consulting Engineer at 4moto | Forensic Vehicle Engineers in Madison, WI and provides services nationwide.
