Introduction

Andrew E. Madden is a Dual-Qualified Marine Surveyor and Maritime Expert with extensive technical, engineering, surveying and operational experience. A former UK-licensed Chief Engineer, he sailed aboard a wide variety of commercial vessels, including large passenger cruise vessels, worldwide for over 13 years. He then spent a further 13 years with Lloyd’s Register, surveying all types of commercial vessels as a Senior Marine Classification Surveyor, Senior Maritime Auditor, and Passenger Ship Specialist Surveyor. Through A.M. Marine Surveys LLC, his work centers on maritime casualty investigations, marine surveying and consultancy.
