Andrew E. Madden is a Dual-Qualified Marine Surveyor and Maritime Expert with extensive technical, engineering, surveying and operational experience. A former UK-licensed Chief Engineer, he sailed aboard a wide variety of commercial vessels, including large passenger cruise vessels, worldwide for over 13 years. He then spent a further 13 years with Lloyd’s Register, surveying all types of commercial vessels as a Senior Marine Classification Surveyor, Senior Maritime Auditor, and Passenger Ship Specialist Surveyor. Through A.M. Marine Surveys LLC, his work centers on maritime casualty investigations, marine surveying and consultancy. He is also a licensed California attorney, allowing his extensive maritime experience to bring an informed, practical, and technical perspective to legal strategy and complex maritime disputes.
