Dr. Amir Lebaschi is a board-certified podiatric physician with extensive experience in foot and ankle care, currently maintaining a private practice in Santa Ana, California. Since 2009, he has dedicated himself to providing comprehensive podiatric services, combining advanced surgical techniques with patient-centered care.
Dr. Lebaschi earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, in 2007. Prior to that, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at the University of Niederrhein in Germany and pursued a science curriculum at the College of San Mateo. He completed a PM-S 36 Podiatric Surgical Residency at Kaiser Hospital, Doctors Hospital of West Covina, Southern California, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in New Jersey, where he gained extensive surgical and clinical experience.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lebaschi has pursued advanced training in foot and ankle surgery, including participation in multiple ACFAS Annual Scientific Conferences and specialized workshops. Notable training includes the TRUE/LOK External Fixation for Trauma and Deformity Correction courses in Dallas, TX, and Seattle, WA (2011), as well as comprehensive programs in arthroscopy, plastic surgery surgical skills, wound VAC management, and advanced external fixation techniques between 2004 and 2010.
Dr. Lebaschi has also contributed to teaching and research initiatives. In 2016, he participated in Innovative Medical Technologies in Los Angeles, CA. Earlier, he researched the effects of bacteria on osteomyelitis in the foot (2002) and provided educational instruction to College of San Mateo students on self-examinations for cancer prevention (1998).
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lebaschi has held multiple leadership roles, including Secretary of his class at Samuel Merritt University (2002–2003), Wound Care Coordinator (2001), and Treasurer of the Geriatric Club (2000). He is licensed in the state of California and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, California Podiatric Medical Association, Orange County Podiatric Medical Association, and American Diabetes Association.
Fluent in English, German, and Farsi, Dr. Lebaschi combines technical expertise with a patient-focused approach, emphasizing individualized care that restores mobility, reduces pain, and improves overall quality of life. Outside the clinic, he enjoys sports and music.
