I am a board-certified academic neurologist providing medical-legal consultation and expert witness services across a broad range of neurological matters. I hold a faculty appointment at a major academic medical center and bring expertise in direct patient care, clinical/translational research, and medical education. My work is grounded in evidence-based medicine, outcomes research, and contemporary neurological science, with experience addressing causation, standard of care, damages, prognosis, impairment, and functional outcomes.

I review complex longitudinal medical records, neuroimaging (CT/MRI), neurologic testing, and neuropsychological data, and integrate the medical record with the scientific literature to form clear, defensible opinions. I approach each matter with independence, objectivity, methodological rigor, and clear communication for attorneys, judges, and juries.

I accept matters involving medical malpractice, personal injury and traumatic brain injury, disability and independent medical evaluations, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and elder abuse/neglect, including nursing home, assisted living, hospital, and other facility-based incidents involving neurological injury, cognitive vulnerability, capacity, falls, delayed diagnosis, failure to monitor, and failure to protect vulnerable individuals. Services include record review, written reports, virtual IME, literature review and evidence synthesis, consultation with counsel, and deposition and trial testimony when appropriate.
