Dr. Ajani completed emergency medicine residency in 2016 at an urban, high volume trauma center in Detroit, MI, and has been practicing as a board certified emergency physician since that time. He has worked in large academic centers in Detroit, MI and Worcester, MA, as well as small, resource-limited community settings in Clinton, MA and Leominster, MA.
Dr. Ajani has experience conducting primary clinical as well as bench research, drafting manuscripts, presenting at national level conferences, and co-authoring textbook chapters. He has experience being involved in peer-review committee and also served in a mentorship role for residents in the past. Dr. Ajani currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at UMass Memorial Medical Center and UMass Memorial Medical School, a leading academic institution in research and education. He currently plays an active role supervising medical students, residents, mid-level providers in various clinical settings and has a long history of providing excellent education to those in training.
As an expert witness, Dr. Ajani is an experienced is currently accepting cases from both plaintiff and defense sides, and can provide malpractice case merit review, opinion reports, deposition, and expert testimony. As an expert witness, I have experience working on medical malpractice cases active throughout the United States, and I make an intentional effort to provide my opinion in clear and understandable terms with the goal of educating the judge and jury about the medical basis for the facts of the case, as they relate to negligence, causation and damages.
