Dr. Yogita Sharma-Segon is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at University of Texas and at Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, she has extensive experience in clinical care, medical education, and quality improvement. She completed her medical training in India, followed by residency in the United States, and has also earned a Master’s in Medical Education.
Dr. Sharma-Segon is an award-winning educator, actively involved in curriculum development, mentorship, and faculty development, with a strong focus on perioperative medicine, hospital medicine, and advancing medical education through research and innovation.
