Dr. William Triveni Lakshmi Singh is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a strong foundation in academic excellence, clinical leadership, and hospital-based care. He currently serves as a hospitalist at PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, a role he has held since September 2020. Prior to that, he practiced as a hospitalist with Benchmark Hospitalists at Good Samaritan Hospital from September 2019 to September 2020.
Dr. Singh earned his Bachelor of Arts in Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University in 2012, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 2016, graduating with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in 2019, where he received multiple distinctions, including Intern of the Year (2017) and Resident Teacher of the Year in both 2018 and 2019—a testament to his clinical acumen and dedication to mentorship.
At PIH Good Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Singh plays an active role in hospital governance and quality initiatives. He serves on the Ethics Committee (since 2020), Peer Review Committee (since 2021), and as a Utilization Review Consultant (since 2023), contributing to institutional efforts in ethical decision-making, clinical quality assurance, and patient resource optimization.
Dr. Singh has also contributed to the academic literature with multiple presentations and research efforts across pulmonary and internal medicine, including work on interstitial lung disease, Chagas disease, bronchoscopic diagnostics in oncology, and the use of ultrasound in female pelvic mesh complications. His scholarly background reflects a commitment to advancing evidence-based medicine.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Singh holds active certifications in ACLS, BLS, and maintains California medical licensure and a DEA license.
