Wendy K. Y. Ng, MD FRCSC FACS is a board‑certified plastic surgeon with subspecialty certification in hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery. Her background spans complex reconstructive surgery, upper extremity trauma, microsurgical reconstruction, and academic leadership across major medical institutions. She has extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and upper extremity restoration, supported by a strong record of scholarly contributions and national presentations.

Dr. Ng completed her ACGME‑accredited Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine/CORE Institute, following her plastic surgery residency at McMaster University, where she earned her RCPSC certification. She received her medical degree from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario and holds a Bachelor of Science with double majors in Kinesiology and Psychology from York University. Her academic roles have included Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, Assistant Program Director for the Plastic Surgery Residency, Co‑Director of Hand Surgery, and Director of Medical Student Plastic Surgery Education.

Dr. Ng maintains an active academic and research portfolio, including funded surgical research, clinical trial involvement, numerous peer‑reviewed publications, and invited presentations at national and international surgical meetings. She serves as Associate Editor for the International Journal of Transplantation & Plastic Surgery and as a reviewer for Hand. Her professional affiliations include the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and multiple state and provincial medical boards.

Dr. Ng is licensed to practice independently in Ontario (Canada) and in the states of California and Arizona.
