Dr. Sujansky is a health I.T. expert with a medical degree, medical informatics doctorate, and 25 years of research and development experience in industry. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Stanford Medical School in the Division of Computational Medicine. Dr. Sujansky graduated from Stanford Medical School and Harvard College.

In his part-time expert-witness work, he has provided expert consultation and testimony in cases involving medical malpractice claims, intellectual property issues, commercial disputes, and criminal prosecutions. His qualifications include:
- Extensive experience with electronic health records (including audit logs), billing/claims systems, health data-sharing software, and related technologies
- Over 25 expert witness engagements since 2011, with 4 depositions and 2 trial appearances since 2019.
