Dr. Uneeb A. Qureshi, M.D. is a board-eligible otolaryngologist with specialized training in otolaryngic allergy and a passion for multidisciplinary care in both clinical and academic settings. He currently practices as an attending otolaryngologist in several institutions across the western United States, including Central Washington Hospital and the Phoenix Indian Medical Center, where he focuses on general otolaryngology and Inspire upper airway stimulation for obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Qureshi earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Loma Linda University. He holds additional certification in Ringside Medicine from the American College of Sports Medicine and a fellowship in Otolaryngic Allergy from the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
His career has been shaped by service in diverse and challenging environments, including assignments with the Indian Health Service and deployments for humanitarian and disaster response across the U.S. He was recognized with multiple presidential citations for his service during the Ebola and COVID-19 public health crises and continues to serve as a volunteer physician and advisor in national public health programs.
A prolific academic, Dr. Qureshi has contributed to peer-reviewed research in airway management, head and neck surgery, and sports medicine, and is an independent reviewer for ENT DosedDaily at NYU Langone Health. He has lectured on multidisciplinary pathways for sleep apnea and presented his work at national and international medical conferences.
Dr. Qureshi’s scholarly output spans topics such as the impact of nasal airway remodeling on voice outcomes, the use of ChatGPT in otolaryngology training, and the pathogenesis of Ménière’s disease. He has authored academic chapters, fiction publications, and even screenplay submissions, reflecting a unique intersection of science, storytelling, and advocacy.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Qureshi serves as a mentor and physician advisor to pre-medical and medical students and holds active medical licenses in five states. Fluent in Urdu, with conversational skills in French and Spanish, he brings cultural and linguistic fluency to a globally oriented practice.
