Introduction

Dr. Jones excels in distilling complex medical principles into readily understandable concepts targeted to judge, jury, and a non-medical audience. He is an effective communicator with extensive speaking experience on both the local and national stage.

Dr. Jones is residency trained and board certified in emergency medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is a full time EM clinician with over 25 years of practice experience. Dr. Jones is the former emergency medicine medical director at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. He has reviewed over 3,000 emergency medicine cases and has a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of standard of care. He served many years as clinical assistant professor, department of surgery, division of emergency medicine, at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) and was active in resident education.

Dr. Jones has a broad clinical background and has practiced in multiple settings from urban trauma and tertiary care referral centers to high acuity single coverage rural EDs. He is very qualified to provide expert opinion relevant to the emergency medicine practice setting.

Dr. Jones furnishes credible, unbiased and honest opinions on medical malpractice cases, military medicine and aviation medicine related matters. His services include evaluation of case for merit, medical chart analysis, support of opinions with medical literature review, and deposition and trial testimony.

Dr. Jones is a retired Commander, Medical Corps, US Navy, where he served as a Surface Warfare Officer and Navy Flight Surgeon. He is thorough, prompt, objective and easy to work with.
