Teresa Matthews is a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in multiple states. Her independent practice has been devoted to Wound Care Management as it pertains to long term care, home care, assisted living, and acute care. Her career began as an Emergency Room Nurse, and progressed to Nursing Education as an Assistant Professor and Nursing Instructor. Throughout the past 16 years, she has maintained expert status on the dynamic wound care industry, to include products, assessment, diagnosing, planning, interventions and evaluations. She works closely with all state surveyors to provide collaborative opinions. She has been published by multiple peer-reviewed literatures and has held several public speaking engagements. She has learned that sometimes the only way to illicit positive change in healthcare is through family litigation. As a powerful patient advocate, she has a warrior voice for the vulnerable and a relentless passion for dignified care. She is able to turn around a chart review quickly for your needs, and is available for witness deposition and testimony as required.
