Introduction

I am an expert in the business and cultivation of marijuana and hemp, with more than a decade of hands-on experience in the cannabis and hemp industry and over 35 retentions. I have provided expert opinions in both state and federal courts and have testified at depositions and at trial, in civil and criminal matters, for both plaintiff and defense counsel.

My combination of industry experience and formal business training — an MBA from the University of Denver — allows me to analyze markets, evaluate a business's strengths and weaknesses, and assess economic impacts in a manner supported by relevant industry data, market evidence, and documentation. My firsthand experience in indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation, across both marijuana and hemp, gives me direct working knowledge of how the cannabis industry operates.

Attorneys retain me when a case turns on what actually happens inside a cannabis or marijuana operation — how crops are grown, what they are worth, why they failed, and what the financial impact looks like. I work on matters involving crop loss and valuation, cannabis and hemp insurance claims, business interruption, COA review and THC interpretation, hemp vs. marijuana classification disputes, THCA litigation, and standard of care in cultivation. I provide case review, expert reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony, and I am available for retention nationwide.
