Dr. Lavian has served as an expert in over 70 patent cases involving more than 140 patents. He has provided reports and testimony in U.S. federal district courts, the USPTO PTAB (IPR, CBM, PGR, ex parte reexamination, and interference proceedings), the ITC, and international courts including the Tax Court of Canada and courts in Asia.

Inventor of 120+ U.S. patents; over 60 prosecuted pro se. Principal Investigator on three DARPA projects. Over 25 peer-reviewed publications. IEEE Senior Member.
