Stephen J. Spurr has a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. He is a Professor Emeritus ot Wayne State University, and works as an expert witness determining damages in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death, other tortious injuries, and breach of contract. He has prepared expert witness reports for more than 200 cases, and testified in over 50 depositions and more than a dozen trials in state and federal courts. He has published 33 articles in peer-reviewed economics journals and journals in law and economics and three editions of a textbook on economic analysis of law.
