Introduction

Dr. Stacey J. Swift is a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesiology and extensive clinical experience across academic medical centers, private practice, and international volunteer service. She currently practices as an anesthesiologist with Delta Locums Group at Labryo Fertility Center in Newport Beach, Pacific Anesthesia Group at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles, and Turiya Anesthesia at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood and East LA Doctors Hospital. In addition to her medical career, she is the CEO of Thimbleberry Capital, LLC, and owner-manager of Perennial Vacation Rentals, overseeing real estate investment and property management.

Dr. Swift earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2000 and completed post-graduate coursework at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine in 2006, followed by an anesthesiology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center from 2006 to 2010. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2011.

From 2011 to 2018, Dr. Swift was a partner physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. During her tenure, she held leadership roles on the Procedural Sedation Review Committee and the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Development Committee, where she contributed to protocol development, safety initiatives, and quality improvement in perioperative care.

Dr. Swift is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesiology. She maintains active certification in ACLS and PALS. Her research includes studies on pediatric systemic lupus erythematosus outcomes, anesthesia teaching methods, and obstetric anesthesia education. She has presented nationally, including at the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia.

Committed to service, Dr. Swift has participated in medical missions in Guatemala, South Africa, and Tanzania, providing both clinical care and anesthesia education. She remains active in the American Society of Anesthesiologists and continues to integrate clinical expertise with leadership and global health engagement.
