
Dr. Sheng F. Cai, MD, PhD
Dr. Sheng F. Cai, MD, PhD is a physician-scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he serves as the Translational Director of the Program for Drug Development in Leukemia. Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, Dr. Cai completed his MD and PhD in Immunology at Washington University in St. Louis. His research focuses on genetic and epigenetic mechanisms of leukemia pathogenesis and therapeutic resistance, with a particular interest in acute myeloid leukemia. He has authored numerous high-impact publications and is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the ASH Scholar Award and The Mark Foundation Momentum Fellowship. Dr. Cai is also active in academic leadership and serves on national research and advisory committees.
