I hold a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University and a master's degree in liberal studies from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, I have completed the prestigious Police Staff and Command School program at Eastern Michigan University, further enhancing my expertise in law enforcement.

I am a highly experienced and skilled Chief of Police with 31 years of law enforcement experience, including 21 years in supervision and management. I am extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of law enforcement operations, including policing best practices, policy, procedures, use of force, risk mitigation, police liability, policing in schools, institutes of higher education, police training, and emergency management planning to name a few.
