Sandeep Krishnan, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a structural and interventional cardiologist with 12 years experience in the field of medicine. His mission is to provide an accurate, detailed, and high quality assessment of medical malpractice claims. He has worked in the field of expert peer review and legal case review for over 5 years and helped both plaintiff and defense councils as they determine the validity of claims. He is in active clinical practice and is the Director of two busy programs at a tertiary care hospital--Structural Heart and Heart Failure.

If you choose to retain Dr. Krishnan as an expert for your legal case, Dr. Krishnan approaches all cases in a structured format designed to provide the most comprehensive information to you and your client. Dr. Krishnan specializes in medical malpractice and actively serves on the American College of Cardiology's Board of Trustees Working Group on Medical Professional Liability Insurance. In addition to answering specific questions you may have about the case he will also provide in his report answers to the following. These questions have served crucial in obtaining judgments both for and against plaintiffs.

1. Was the procedure medically necessary?
2. Was the patient appropriately consented about the risks for the procedure and was this consent well documented?
3. Was the physician or provider negligent during the procedure?
4. Was the complication recognized in a timely manner? Were the necessary steps taken to mitigate the complication (if any)?

He has extensive public speaking and courtroom experience and is an expert in his field. Dr. Krishnan is truly a "doctor's doctor" and is well respected nationally as a key opinion leader. Dr. Krishnan is very credible on the witness stand and can be an asset for your case because he "tells it how it is."
