Introduction

As a licensed professional civil engineer P.E., Mr. Secrest has over 15 years of experience as an expert witness and damages witness. I have performed professional expert witness services on ten (10) court cases in California and one in Texas performing audio and video depositions; Robert has also performed inside the courtroom delivering expert witness testimony and/or written depositions as a damages witness (cost estimator), marine engineering expert, transportation expert witness, Stormwater management expert witness, civil engineering design expert witness, construction defect expert witness, human resource and business law expert witness, OSHA safety expert witness, and civil engineer expert witness.
Robert has over 25 years of experience in the fields of transportation including traffic engineering, signage and striping, MUTCD, AASHTO, Green Book, IBC, UBC, NEC, UPC, OSHA, materials testing, highway, pavement, bridges, and rail, marine construction, water, wastewater, and recycled water including pipeline transmission and distribution, water rights, property rights, property disputes, plat maps, property descriptions, land surveying, cell tower and switch sites, zoning conflicts, Stormwater management, dam safety, environmental engineering, contaminated soil, environmental law, ADA and ABA, real estate, contract law, construction law, construction claims, design defects, construction defects and failures, damages, AACEi standards, construction scheduling, delay claims, delays, injury claims, workers compensation claims, USL&H, and civil engineering as a certified and licensed construction cost estimator performing expert witness services.
