Pete Frandano, CCIM, is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, commercial real estate advisor, and Valuation Advisory Services Director with Colliers. With more than 25 years of experience in valuation, brokerage, consulting, and litigation support, he has advised financial institutions, attorneys, corporations, government agencies, municipalities, and private investors on a wide range of complex real estate matters.

Mr. Frandano is a past president and Hall of Fame inductee of the North Carolina CCIM Chapter and has been recognized as a Top Producer by the CCIM Institute. He holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is the author of *Endurance Real Estate: Running from Peak to Peak*, a book focused on long-term decision-making, risk management, and real estate investment strategy.

In addition to his valuation practice, Mr. Frandano has spent much of his career as an active participant in the real estate marketplace. Unlike many of his appraiser colleagues, Mr. Frandano has significant transactional experience and has been an active market participant. He previously served as co-owner of a 23-agent brokerage firm in southeastern North Carolina and has been directly involved in commercial real estate brokerage, investment analysis, development consulting, and transaction advisory services. This combination of valuation expertise and real-world market experience allows him to analyze issues from the perspective of appraisers, investors, lenders, brokers, developers, and property owners.

His experience includes eminent domain and condemnation matters, partial acquisitions, easement valuation, highest and best use analysis, market studies, investment decision-making, and complex commercial property valuations across a wide range of asset classes.
