Before he began practicing in clinical medicine, Dr. Paul Conte completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiothoracic at UW Madison. His specialties include general surgery, vascular surgery, and thoracic surgery. In 2004, Dr. Conte began an office in West Des Moines, specializing in outpatient surgery with a hernia center.

Dr. Conte is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and licensed in Nebraska and Iowa. He can review complex workers’ compensation cases and determine causation. Unique cases Dr. Conte can review include hernias, fractured ribs, and thoracic outlet syndrome. With the utilization of telemedicine, Dr. Conte is available to see cases across Nebraska and Iowa.
