Dr. Nicholas J. Walker is a board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon based in Frisco, Texas. His clinical practice focuses on a high volume of cosmetic surgery of the face, body, and breast, complemented by extensive training and experience in facial reconstruction, burn reconstruction, hand surgery, and breast reconstruction.
Dr. Walker is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his training at the prestigious Wake Forest Baptist Health Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, one of the nation’s leading plastic surgery training programs.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Walker provides medical expert witness services in complex medical-legal matters. His services include case evaluations, medical record review and analysis, deposition and trial testimony, and expert opinions regarding causation, standard of care, and injury severity. He has been retained by both plaintiff and defense counsel and provides objective, independent medical opinions based on the available evidence.
Dr. Walker has experience evaluating matters involving cosmetic plastic surgery, medical spa and aesthetic medicine procedures (including neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport, as well as dermal fillers), traumatic scar evaluation, dog bite injuries, and burn injuries. His expertise allows him to provide clear, evidence-based opinions that assist attorneys and courts in understanding medical issues and determining whether care met accepted standards of practice.
Dr. Walker is also a published author in the fields of breast reconstruction, burn surgery of the hand and face, facial reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. He has presented his work at national plastic surgery and burn conferences and has been invited to speak on these topics at professional meetings.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Walker oversees a comprehensive aesthetic practice where he performs and supervises a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including injectable treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers, laser treatments, and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures. This experience provides him with additional insight into standards of care within the rapidly expanding field of medical aesthetics.
Dr. Walker also serves as an internationally credentialed burn surgeon with Operation Smile and has participated in mission work providing burn care to both adult and pediatric patients worldwide.

- A: Initial consultation with an attorney is complimentary to determine whether the case is an appropriate fit. For consulting services, including case review and attorney consultation, my hourly rate is $400 per hour. My rate for deposition testimony is $600 per hour. A $2,500 retainer is required prior to beginning case review, which is applied toward billed time and expenses. Additional services such as trial testimony or Independent Medical Examinations (IME) are available upon request and may have separate fee structures.
