Introduction

Dr. Neetika Srivastava is a double board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician with a strong academic foundation and a diverse range of clinical, leadership, and research experiences. She currently serves as Medical Director for the Division of Gastroenterology Utilization Management at Evicore and is a practicing gastroenterologist at Premier Gastroenterology Institute in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Her clinical interests span colorectal cancer screening, esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and quality improvement in endoscopy.

Dr. Srivastava earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Healthcare Policy Management, from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with honors and as an Andrew Carnegie Merit Scholar. She completed her medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine in 2013, followed by an internal medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University. She remained at Case Western for fellowship training in Gastroenterology, where she was appointed Chief Fellow and later received the ACG 2nd Year Fellows Course distinction.

Her academic appointments include Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor roles at both UC Irvine and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she also served as Medical Director of the Gastroenterology Clinic at Harbor-UCLA. A passionate educator, Dr. Srivastava has taught and mentored medical students, residents, and fellows across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings.

Dr. Srivastava’s research contributions include peer-reviewed publications on artificial intelligence in GI diagnostics, colorectal cancer screening in underserved populations, and quality measures in endoscopic care. She has served as Principal or Sub-Investigator on several clinical trials and was awarded a Diversity and Inclusion Research Grant by the ASGE in 2023. She has presented extensively at national conferences, including Digestive Disease Week and ACG.

Dr. Srivastava is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, where she has served on multiple national committees most recently in the ASGE Quality Assurance in Endoscopy Committee and ASGE Membership Engagement Committee. She is also involved in mentoring women in medicine and leads community outreach initiatives in colorectal cancer awareness and youth education.
