Dr. Miguel Rodriguez is a board-certified cardiac anesthesiologist with over 15 years of clinical experience and more than a decade of perioperative leadership. Before medical school, Dr. Rodriguez served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army, an experience that strengthened his leadership, discipline, communication, and ability to perform under pressure—qualities he carries into his medical practice and expert consultation work.
He currently serves as Perioperative Director, Medical Director of Anesthesia Services, and Chair of the Medical Executive Committee, overseeing anesthesia quality, safety, credentialing, and operating room performance across hospital and ambulatory settings. His clinical expertise includes airway management, anesthesia complications, hemodynamic instability, opioid- and sedation-related events, perioperative decision-making, monitoring standards, documentation, and postoperative complications.
Dr. Rodriguez holds active medical licenses in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, is an Advanced Perioperative TEE Testamur, and is an active member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists. He is now expanding his services to expert-witness consultation and provides clear, structured, and clinically grounded opinions to support attorneys in anesthesia and perioperative care matters.

Retainer
• A $2,500 retainer is required to initiate a case review. Unused retainer funds are refundable.
Additional Terms
• All travel time is billed at $250 per hour plus applicable expenses.
• Invoices are due upon receipt. Work may pause on accounts more than 30 days overdue.
• Rush work (requested within 48 hours) may incur a 20% surcharge.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations or rescheduling of depositions or trial testimony with less than 48 business hours' notice will
be billed at the minimum reserved time (e.g., 2 hours for depositions).
