Introduction

Dr. Melody Rodriguez is a board-certified chiropractor specializing in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, with a strong emphasis in sports medicine. With over seven years as a healthcare professional, she is patient-focused and committed to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. Her academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California State University, Los Angeles (2019), and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences (2023).

Currently, Dr. Rodriguez serves as Lead Doctor of Chiropractic at The Joint in Mid-City, a role she has held since July 2024. In this capacity, she oversees a high-volume practice, manages daily clinic performance goals, and provides comprehensive neuromusculoskeletal evaluations and spine-related care. She educates patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care and develops individualized treatment plans to address their needs. In June 2025, she expanded her practice by joining Heal Deeply Live Fully in Eagle Rock, an integrative clinic specializing in holistic care for patients with both musculoskeletal and mental health conditions. There, she performs detailed intake assessments—including gait analysis, orthopedic and neurological exams—and collaborates with acupuncturists, hypnotherapists, dietitians, and social workers to create patient-centered treatment plans. Her care incorporates modalities such as rehabilitation exercises, E-STIM, KT tape, Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), and Activator methods.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Rodriguez worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and trainer with Emergency 1 Response in Los Angeles (2018–2024). She partnered with the California State Health & Safety team to deliver pre-hospital emergency care, often in high-pressure environments at large events, and provided critical interventions for patients experiencing neurological and immunological emergencies.

Fluent in English and proficient in intermediate Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez integrates her clinical expertise with compassionate patient communication. She is skilled in a wide range of chiropractic and rehabilitative techniques, including extremity adjustments, athletic taping, spinal decompression, Graston, Webster, and McKenzie protocols. Certified in Basic Life Support, CPR/AED, and emergency preparedness, she brings a unique blend of acute care experience and advanced chiropractic training to her practice, consistently prioritizing patient safety, education, and long-term wellness.
