Matthew Cardamone, P.E.
Matthew Cardamone, P.E., is a Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of professional construction and engineering experience including new construction, demolition, remediation, and estimating. In roles ranging from Inspector to Estimator to Senior Project Engineer he has held responsibility for project management, work zones, traffic control, and site safety. As an expert at Robson Forensic, Matthew applies his expertise to investigations involving construction claims and injuries.
Matthew’s construction background includes experience on highways and bridges (both vehicular and pedestrian), rail transit work including station construction as well as elevated station and track sections on WMATA’s Dulles Corridor, and other heavy and industrial projects including toll plazas, dam rehabilitation work, and sewerage treatment plant construction. Matthew has extensive experience in construction work zone (CWZ) management and traffic control with regard to MUTCD regulations. As both a Field Engineer and Senior Engineer, Matthew has a deep knowledge of construction site safety and the duties and responsibilities of superintendents, foremen, and various trades to keep a project moving safely, on budget, and on time.
Matthew is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states. He is OSHA 30-Hour certified and has received continuing training from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Matthew earned his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
