Dr Hochman is double board certified in Head/Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery. His practice is limited to facial plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face/head/neck in both children and adults. He has consistently been recognized for his medical practice in local, state and national arenas. He is a published and recognized expert in vascular anomalies in children; cosmetic surgery in adults and migraine surgery. He serves on the Board of Medical Examiners of South Carolina; has received the Order of the Palmetto (South Carolina's highest civilian award) for his medical work; has received the Humanitarian Award of the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the Health Care Heroes of South Carolina Award and recognized as one of 10 South Carolina Business Leaders (2025).
In addition to his practice, he is an Affiliate Professor of Plastic Surgery and Head/Neck Surgery at Medical University of South Carolina; the Founder of The Hemangioma Treatment Foundation and Co-founder of the South Carolina Health Policy Forum.
