Dr. Kristin M. Lane, DO, FACP, Dipl ABOM

Dr. Kristin M. Lane is an internal medicine physician with long-standing experience in academic, hospital, outpatient and rehabilitation medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She has rural outpatient medicine, concussion and clinic experience. She currently practices as a hospitalist managing complex medical conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary treatment plans for patients in both the hospitalized and rehabilitation settings.
Dr. Lane completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 2012. She then was selected for Chief Resident and Junior Faculty where she continued to develop her leadership and teaching skills with the residency program. She has also worked as clinical assistant professor of internal medicine for University of Arizona and as a simulation instructor for the medical school. Dr. Lane’s leadership and recognition include the Doctors Day Award at Banner University Medical Center, serving as Peer Mentorship Group Lead, and election as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP).
She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri in 2009. She completed dual undergraduate degrees—a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology—at Northwest Nazarene University in 2003. She was also recognized as an academic all American in cross country for her undergraduate institution while participating as a year round athlete.
She is active in volunteer services and working with underserved communities. Outside of medicine, Dr Lane enjoys traveling, learning new cultures, languages, running, woodworking and spending time with her family and dogs.
