Introduction

Dr. Karin Celosse is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive expertise in forensic, neuropsychological, and correctional mental health services. She holds a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychopharmacology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, as well as a Master of Public Health in Health Services and Policy from the University of Southern California. Bilingual in clinical training and practice, Dr. Celosse integrates evidence-based interventions with trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to support diverse populations.

Her clinical experience spans correctional institutions, hospital-based substance use programs, outpatient mental health clinics, and private practice. She has conducted neuropsychological evaluations, risk and competence assessments, and substance use evaluations, and provides individual therapy interventions. Dr. Celosse has served as a clinical supervisor and manager, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to implement case management and treatment plans, while ensuring access to supportive services and addressing barriers to care.

Dr. Celosse is also an accomplished educator, having served as adjunct faculty for graduate programs in clinical, forensic, and counseling psychology. She has taught courses on psychopathology, counseling methodologies, personality theory, ethics, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, mentoring students to develop skills necessary for competent professional practice.

In addition to her clinical and teaching work, Dr. Celosse has served as a subject matter expert witness in forensic cases and contributed to research on corrections, ADHD diagnosis and treatment, and ethical standards in professional practice. She has presented at national conferences on mental health in correctional settings and co-authored publications addressing best practices for interventions with vulnerable populations.
