Dr. Julia Skinner is an expert in library and archival research and food studies. She has a PhD in Library & Information Science, is an award-winning food historian, and the founder of Root, which offers research consulting related to food and food history.

She helps clients research the history of brands and public figures, trace the histories of specific ingredients and the development of food products, and conducts archival research for other cases where historical and research expertise are required.
